In bonus module of KFS you mention a certain method involving PayPal, does that still work?

No, it doesn't. KFS was written over a year ago now and whilst most principles are accurate, this no longer works.

So, I guess I'll be using Escrow.com. Just wish there were a faster way to get paid.

Wire is the fastest after WU/MoneyGram. Paypal isn't exactly fast as they tend to take ages to actually release the money to your bank account. If you're protected by a contract you can pay with whatever method you find convenient.

    Re: Escrow or PayPal?

This is a pretty old trick and there are ways around it (now that Escrow is aware of the scam).
I don't want to be very specific in order not to give away any information that scammers might use in their favour, but let's just say that when a situation like this occurs it will, in most cases, be sorted in a couple of days.

That said, there are other risks with Escrow, and it's still not an entirely safe platform - so regardless of the platform, it's always important to make sure that the person you're dealing with is trustworthy and have a proper written agreement in place with the other party.

Lets say that the buyer is from USA and i am from Europe,i don't think that a simple agreement will have any kind of value.

What about moniker domain escrow, anyone had any experience with them? It seems a better solution for domain transfer

    Re: Escrow or PayPal?

ESCROW.com - I am not sure why everyone is afraid of it. What I have been doing on all of my larger sales is setting the escrow payment do disburse 1/3 at the time of deposit, 1/3 at the domain transfer and 1/3 at the content transfer. Has been working well for me. I usually get my checks within 3 business days of disbursement/release by escrow.
