Brokers could enter listings as regular sellers and be charged upfront per the fee structure described in my September 8th post, or they could opt for the monthly or quarterly subscription service, also charged upfront, to post unlimited listings. For the subscription service there could be space to offer partial refunds based on the actual number of listings posted post factum. Success fees under both scenarios would be charged at the time of sale.

Realtor.com has somewhat similar model and more.

Does this sound reasonable to you?

Sounds good, will let you know if such marketplace exists by the time you will be ready to flip your current inventory – might be a great place for you to list. Good luck building!

But people are buying them and they hope they can make a living with it. But they never will and then they come back and find an other idiot that buy that junk site. You all know that dp forum there its even worth because the listings are free. The same thing at ebay. Only way out is stand out from the cloud with high quality and you will make money from it.
Stefanz99, thank you for your post!

I agree, hence, there might be a need for a “clean” marketplace with only high quality listings and no cloud. How much interest do you think could possibly be out there for such a marketplace? Would you be interested to participate yourself?
