    Variety of reasons:

    - Unpaid Fees
    - Shill Bidding
    - Violating Flippa TOS
    - Winning and not paying for an auction

There's usually a difference between banned accounts and suspended accounts.

To get banned you have to do something pretty bad... something like not paying your fees and faking stats would do that.

If, for example, you just win and auction and don't pay (IMO this should still be worth a ban) you'll just get suspended (if at all).

Andrew from Flippa checks here regularly, so he might be able to give a bit more insight into Flippa policies.

All you have to remember to not get banned is to read Flippa's TOS, which is an easy read unlike most other company's legal nonsense, and to always be honest. If you're honest with what sites you sell and with the stats, and are honest with actually having the money on hand to purchase a site when you bid and win, then you'll be perfectly fine.

And I believe that the more valuable you are to Flippa in terms of how much money you make them, the more lenient they'll be in any small unintentional mistakes you may make in the future.

@mestealth has done a good take on this wrt suspension. Banning is only really ever done when we have rock solid evidence that the seller/buyer is being deceptive: the user has sold/lent their account to someone else, they have a duplicate account or they trying to sell stolen domains ...

@ryan - thanks. We like to make it easy to read.

    Hope that clarifies it.
