FP - Bought first site on Flippa, have a few security questions.

I just bought my first site off Flippa I gave the guy my login and password in hostgator. I did this about 24 hours ago and he just now transfered everything (I checked).

I just changed the password in Hostgator....but I am nervous that he could have done something to my other sites in hostgator...am I being paranoid? Should I check a specific area in hostgator or on my sites or not worry about it???

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am sure there are tons of scams out there...matter of fact this purchase seemed to easy and low price...it was for letstraveltoday.com and I got it for 105.00, domain is 7 years old.

I didn't ask any questions...just took a gamble..I am more worried about what he can do to my existing sites. Also this site I bought is a wordpress based site, he gave me the admin username/password to get into the backend, This login is set to admin in wordpress, it won't let me change it so how can I set it that he can't login to my backend in wordpress now?

If you have admin login for a Wordpress blog you control all the users and their level of permission. Go to users and delete everyone except yourself and ... that's it.

As a precaution change all the passwords to the admin login, to your other sites and to your databases.

When you give a user the permissions, you really should go in to your FTP settings in Host Gator, and only allow they access to the ADD ON domain you sold, never access to all your sites. You can access the FTP panels from your main cpanel in Host Gator.
