Regular scraping of Flippa

Just discovered http://www.flippafriends.com/

Very interesting!

It seems to be reproducing all the listings from Flippa. In fact, it seems to have everything from the Flippa database - tags, just sold listings....

He's got some of the latest listings that haven't even made it into the Google index yet.

Is this scraping ... or does he have a Flippa API?

I just took a quick look, and maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see it's purpose? It says "Helpful and Safety Tips For Using Flippa", but I don't see any. If you click on "ending soon" nothing comes up. But again, if there are no tips etc, I see no reason for the site.

Did copycats ever need a reason to do anything apart from dream about making money from their theft?

But I was interested in whether he's using a Flippa API ... or scraping Flippa. The first is fine. If it's the second, I wonder if Flippa is taking any action?
