I did try it. That's how I know it asks me for the security code! - and it won't let me do it on itunes, I have to enter it on the phone. ( I use the security code feature, that forces me to enter a 4 digit PIN to get access to the phone) I figured it would help if I ever lost it, since anyone on my phone gets access to some private stuff via dropbox etc.
