    Cool

Hi Cash. You're not hi-jacking nothing.

OK. The external link I referred to is recommended to be at, or near, the bottom of a post for your site. This is from a stack full of SEO gurus. I still think it's OK as long as it goes to a site that's related to your post subject.

ie: The external link in a colon cancer article on my 'Chemotherapy Colon Cancer' site should go to something like,
Causes, incidence, and risk factors. This key phrase term goes to a .GOV site.

Note that it is a long-tailed keyword that is linked to an authority site. It is a 'NoFollow' but it still carries some KW weight.

SEO is still valid as long as it's not over SEO'd.
