Is the IPHONE 4S worth it - or stick with an IPHONE 4?

There are moral issues here too mike. .

I will sort my own conscience out thanks. I do not replace anything until it is either obsolete, or broken. I buy cars on the basis of miles per gallon, not flashiness. I had tube tellies until they turned the analogue signals off around here, so I had to do something..
I use freecycle (brilliant service) to get rid of everything - that is give - things I can longer use, but somebody might.

My previous phone lasted 6 years till it croaked. I would have kept my 3GS for years (it is the best part of a year over replacement date) - except - if you read - you will see it is broken!! So since I cannot get it fixed - I have to buy another.

Sad but true. So the question is what not whether.

I didn't mean to preach or cause offence Mike, I had no way of knowing whether or not you knew about this. Let's face it, it's not widely advertised by the phone companies. That's why I didn't link anything and said that you should look it up if you were interested. Also, there are other people reading this thread who may not have been aware, I was just raising awareness.
