    Adobe Creative Cloud

I was wondering if anyone has purchased Adobe's CS6 in the Creative Cloud version.

I personally own an old copy of CS5.5 but a friend is wondering if it is actually the full versions of the software or are they limited versions? What is their hosting like? Does the use of their fonts include webfont versions?

For those that don't know, basically it is all of Adobes Products (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere, Acrobat etc etc) on a monthly payment plan, 49.99 a month whereas the full version is nearly $3000 which means you could rent it for 60 months and even at upgrade value of $600 thats rental for about a year.
I got out of bed today staring at a ghost. Who forgot to float away, didnt have all that much to say. Wouldn't even tell me his own name.

I have not purchased the creative cloud version, but it sounds like a cost effective way to have access to Adobe's products. If they are full versions, it would be worth the investment if you didn't want to spring for the non-cloud counterparts.

bought the version that turns up on a CD - still like to have physical media for the expensive bits!

i would be interested in the answer to the op too - we looked at this recently.

as we only utilise a couple of elements from the suite we ended up just buying the products - which worked out cheaper if you looked at a 2.5 year total cost of ownership - I would need to cross check the actual figures but that is just from memory.

I looked at that as well but with the rate of updates of Creative Suite with 7 major versions in less than 10 years you are likely to be at a new version before you have paid for the old version. Which is about every 1.5 years, so with the cost of updates you are looking at close to 4 1/2 years before you end up paying for the same amount that you have rented for.

Yeah I am thinking he may just have to bite the bullet it is $80 USD for 1 month no contract he can take that to see if everything is full version and then take the 1 year contract if all is ok. Once I get some information I will get back to this thread.
