    Feeding back

Apologies, that I don't post that actively, or maybe you should be relieved as my knowledge of the forum's key subject matter is very limited when compared with the other senior members.

A few months back I posted a thread re Social Enterprise and online business:-

    Here http://experienced-people.net/forums...highlight=jj70

    and here:-

    http://experienced-people.net/forums...highlight=jj70

    Just to feedback:-

    1) The business is up and running (I'll only post a web link with permission).

    2) I'm currently working on some of the ideas provided by members of this forum.

I now have in place the operational structure (very small operational structure) to provide quality content writing and am pretty much ready to go live now. No doubt there will be a few hic ups. The writers are from varying degrees of disadvantaged social groups. My aspirations for this (all be it small) project are far too long for a thread and the business model will no doubt need a bit of tweaking. Fell free to PM me if you want to know more.

I will also be running with one of the other ideas put forward - website accessibility of individuals with disabilities. I do not currently have a solid business model for this. But I was thinking of providing a free fact sheet for forum members, or maybe just a thread on the subject. The long term business model for this will probably be consultancy services for private sector businesses and a demonstration of the commercial value of updating their sites (simply put a reasonable slice of the disabled population have some powerful pockets........yes I know the opposite is also true but not all commercial organisations are strong on ethics.).

@Crabfoot, I would still like to hear some of the other ideas you say you have (only if you are happy to share).

Thanks to all who read and contributed to my last threads.

    Very much appreciated.

    JJ

JJ, As you know, EP does not permit promotion, but this type of venture is different. I would certainly like to see a web link here, with more detail on how it is set up. This is the type of helpful cause for the disadvantaged that should be supported. Rather than PM, It is likely that posting your aspirations for the business could assist in bringing work due to understanding the cause.

Please also be aware that details on this should be placed into the BSTE forum. It is getting more attention now that EP has The Marketplace, but the BSTE Rules have been revised since you last posted.
