Has anyone come across or used http://www.flipmarketplace.com?
I'm sort of wondering how Flippa hasnt sued yet but can anyone vouch for it as being worthwhile or worth indexing?
Thanks
Justin

It would be a waste of time for Flippa to sue. They will probably be gone in a few months, based on the history of all of the other Flippa clones.
If they can't even bother to come up with a unique color scheme, I don't think they will have any innovative ideas that would allow them to take business from the market leader.
Harsh but true.
I think I've been reading too many self help books...all this looking for the good in the world is bad for business![]()
I saw one a few weeks ago that was the spit of Flippa (like the one mentioned above) and there were references to Flippa all over the code like <body id="flippa-com">. I'm not saying I needed to check the code to figure out what they copied...
If you can't beat them, clone them.
I've noticed Flippa scripts popping up daily in my Google Alerts, but never thought someone would not even try and modify the site first!
I don't think there is anything horrible about creating a knockoff of a popular product (unless you are trying to intentionally fool people into thinking that you are the original). I just don't think they will be successful, since the main reason people use Flippa is because of the userbase, not the site layout. It's not the same as selling generic cereal or sunscreen for 10% less than the name brand, which I think these people fail to realize.
I believe flipmarketplace is for sale if anyone is interested! So far they haven't had the gal to try to list it for sale on Flippa. As @benitez mentioned, it's a waste of our time to go after every Flippa clone that pops up. We are, however, very protective of our trademark.
We see "Flippa clone" popping up in Google Alerts every other day, but as most experienced people here would know, a decent website is only half the battle.
I am sure the people at Flippa look at this and laugh. I personally hate cloners... Just a bunch of people who lack their own ideas.
I think the old "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" quote partially applies here. I doubt that there is any site that reaches a certain level of success without someone trying to clone it.
