Any Keyword Discovery From Content Tool?

If I have a page of content and would like to know what TITLE to use, it would be great if I could put it into a tool which told me which keyword works best. I would expect the tool to analyse my text and also look up search data. Is there anything of this kind?

Sorry, I don't know of such a tool. To be really useful, I guess it would look at the competition for whatever phrase it determines?

Why would you need such a tool though? Isn't it better to do your keyword research first and determine the title before you write the page? Unless you've inherited a bunch of content of course...

Just call it something that tells people (and therefore the search engine bot) what the page is about. It will naturally include the most important phrase on the page i.e. your keyword phrase.

That's it. I will be inheriting a bunch of original content. All on the same theme. So, I will know the theme of the keyword. But I am hoping to automate assignment of the main keyword

That that is the way I would have gone. Except that all my pages (hundreds) will then have the same or near-identical keyphrase. I was hoping for a tool that would perform text analysis and all aspects of keyword research for me. C'mon technology is supposed to make us lazy, right?

I see, you're trying to avoid actually having to manually scan pages to decide what keywords to include in the Title. Have you tried any of the free keyword density tools? One fo those will scan a page and tell you what phrases figure most but I don't know of one that will do multiple pages.

Why do you want to know what title to use?

Is it to push the page up the search rankings... or to persuade people to click your link in the SERPs?

To me the title is a creative job and therefore not best suited to automating though I dare say a good automated system could do a reasonable job of summarising a page's content to create a half-decent title for the SE bot.

I want to know only the keyphrase for the articles. I will then include the keyphrase in the title.

Maybe I should use this: http://linkbaitgenerator.com (just kidding, it would be totally irrelevant for the theme of my site )

Use that keyword density tool then, look for the two and three word phrases and pick one as the Title.
